This edible unprocessed cookie dough is almost too good to be true.
This feel-good recipe is easy to make, and it’s comprised of anything but empty calories. The cashews add a boost of protein, while the presence of added honey creates the mouthwatering sweetness you crave. If you make these ahead of time this summer, bring them to the beach, eat them by the poolside, or keep them in the kitchen to prevent kids from snacking on unhealthy junk food.
1 cup cashews
1/2 cup oats
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
Directions: Blend cashews and oats in a Dash Chef Series Power Blender until coarse and dump into a bowl add the honey, maple syrup, and vanilla and stir until combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Scoop dough into small balls and refrigerate until firm.
Chef Tip: If you want rainbow cookie dough, swap out the chocolate chips for rainbow sprinkles. If you’re craving snickerdoodle dough, try adding 2 tablespoons of cinnamon and dust the cookie dough balls in cane sugar.
