Fourth of July Vegan Pie

Looking for a way to please the crowd at your upcoming Fourth of July BBQ? We’ve got you covered with our Fourth of July Vegan Pie! Impress your friends and family by using fruit to resemble the American flag, all while preparing a healthy pie!

Ingredients

1 pre-baked Vegan pie crust

15 oz coconut milk

2 tbsp organic cane sugar

1 ½ tbsp cornstarch

1 vanilla bean pod

¼ cup blueberries

½ cup strawberries, sliced

2 bananas, sliced

Directions

Heat coconut milk and seeds from the vanilla bean pod in the Dash Express Hot Pot. Whisk together cornstarch and cane sugar. Add the sugar mixture to the hot pot and cook until consistency is thick. Pour custard into tart shell and allow a few minutes to cool.

Create an American flag pattern with the strawberries, bananas, and blueberries on the top of the pie. Enjoy!
