    My First Dash Product

    I purchased the Dash Clear View Toaster based on the reviews I researched, and especially based on the one that America's Test Kitchen gave on it's YouTube channel.

    After using a Black&Decker $20 toaster for the past 8 years, which served me very well, I have to say that the Clear View Toaster is a far superior product. Not only does it toast evenly, but it retains some of the moisture inside the bread, while leaving it nice and toasted on the outside. I've never had toast not taste dry without any butter or other garnishments, so this was a pleasant surprise! I believe this has something to do with the heating elements, which are not the standard wires; rather they are large element tubes located at the bottom of the heating tray.

    Another thing I love about this toaster is the space-saving design. The single-slot design also allows me to toast wider pieces of bread, like my favorite Goldminer's Sourdough, without having to cut the slices in half.

    The view window is a nice addition, but based on how I have my toaster orientated, it's not a feature I will use often. The outside remains cool to the touch and also is very easy to clean. It matches the other appliances I have around my kitchen, including my appliances!

    Dash, great job on making a great product! So far, I am really enjoying my new toaster!

    5 STARS!! I love it!!!!!!!

    It not only works fine but the electrical cord is plenty long enough and it is an absolute pleasure! I put my first bagel in the toaster and set it at #6 and it worked beautifully. Not too dark, not too light. Came out perfect, and the wide slots are plenty big enough for the bagel.
