Our Favorite Smoothie Recipes For Summer!

Smoothies are always a great solution for making something delicious when you are in a time crunch, or just “mixing up” what you normally eat! Grab your Dash blender and try some of these quick, nutritious recipes.

Kale Yeah!
Ingredients:
6 cups kale
2 cups almond milk
1 cup frozen mango chunks
1 frozen banana
1 green apple, seeded and quartered
½ lemon, juiced

Directions:
Pour the almond milk into the blender.
Add the additional ingredients into the blender and run on the “smoothie” setting or blend on high for 45 Seconds.
Use the Tamper to push the ingredients into the bottom of the blender if necessary.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 ½ bananas, frozen
3 tbsp creamy peanut butter
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup of almond milk
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
Blend all of the ingredients until smooth.
Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Chillax
Ingredients:
½ cup spinach
1 banana
¼ cup frozen blueberries
¼ cup frozen mango
¼ cup frozen peaches
1 tbsp flax seed
½ cup Greek yogurt
½ cup almond milk

Directions:
Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth!

Key Lime Protein Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
¼ cup Greek yogurt
1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp lime zest
1 tsp honey
2 scoops plant-based protein powder
½ cup ice cubes

Directions:
Place all of your ingredients into a blender and blend on the smoothie setting.
Use the Tamper to push the ingredients into the bottom of the blender if necessary.

Superfood Smoothie
Ingredients:
For the Smoothie:
3 kale leaves
½ cup pineapple
3 kiwis, peeled
Juice from 1 lime
½ cup cold water
½ cup ice
For the Chia Topping:
½ cup cold water
3 tablespoons chia seeds

Directions: Mix the chia topping together and set in the fridge for an hour.
Blend the smoothie ingredients together and pour into a glass.
Top with the chia mixture and enjoy!
