Our Three Must-Have Dash Products That Will Really Make Cooking Easier

There are so many headaches that plague our kitchens. Pouring a bowl of cereal only to discover you’re out of milk, and burning your last slice of bread in the middle of making a sandwich are just two of them. There’s also small counter spaces, spillage, and other small inconveniences that make you never want to pull out a new recipe. We’ve all been there. My name is Max and I am a writer at Dash in NYC, and I can certainly relate to this problem every day!

Some of our favorite Dash appliances help get rid of all the annoyances that keep us out of the kitchen. Even something as simple as a good toaster can be life-changing when it comes to a painless morning routine. Below are some of our favorite Dash products that keep us cooking!

It’s hard not to burn your toast when you can’t see the inside of your toaster. The Dash Clear View Toaster will not only toast your bread evenly, but you can also peep the process to guarantee the perfect level of toastiness. If you’re picky like me, this baby is a surefire way to make sure your morning starts out on the right foot.

If you’re like me, you never have enough room to cook. The Dash Mini Makers have become life-savers in my very small New York apartment, and there’s almost nothing I can’t make with any one of them. The one I actually use most frequently happens to be the Mini Maker Waffle, and I’ve used it to “waffle-ize” everything from paninis, to brownies. Yummm!

The Dash Mini Rice Cooker is our favorite go-to for nearly any meal, from macaroni and cheese to turkey chili, to a yummy recipe for cilantro-lime rice! There’s no such thing as overcooked rice with this handy appliance, that also keeps your food warm!

The tools you use in the kitchen play a huge role in how your meals or snacks turn out! We like to keep things simple so that every recipe you try ends up being easy, healthy, and delicious! Below are a few recipes to go along with the favorite kitchen helpers we recommended above.

Waffle Biscuit Pizza
Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
¾ cup milk
½ tsp salt
½ cup cold butter, cut into small chunks
pepperoni and shredded mozzarella cheese
(or preferred fillings)
Directions
Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the butter and use a pastry cutter or fork to
cut butter into the flour until it is a coarse crumb. Stir in the milk. Roll your dough out on a floured surface so that it is ½ inch thick. Cut out as many 3-inch circles as possible. Alternatively, you can use premade biscuit dough instead of making dough from scratch. Slice each premade biscuit in half so that they are about ½ thick and then proceed with directions. Cut dough circles horizontally just enough so that you can stuff the biscuit with the pepperoni and mozzarella. After you have put in your fillings, seal the biscuit by pinching the edges of the dough. Cook them in the Mini Maker Waffle until golden and crispy. Serve with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
